Druktrip was founded with a simple mission — to make Bhutan accessible, seamless, and unforgettable for travelers from India.
The founder was born and raised in Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city, where she spent her childhood immersed in the country’s unique culture, traditions, and natural beauty. Growing up in Bhutan gave her a deep personal connection to the land, its people, and its hidden experiences that most travelers never discover.
After completing her schooling in Thimphu, she moved to Bangalore, India, to pursue her Bachelor of Commerce degree. This transition marked the beginning of her professional journey and global exposure.
She began her career in 2015 at Concentrix, gaining experience in operations and service excellence within a global corporate environment. She later joined Axis Bank, where she developed strong expertise in financial operations, customer management, and structured business processes.
Her career progressed further when she joined Amazon, world’s biggest online retail organization. At Amazon, she worked in high-performance, process-driven environments, strengthening her capabilities in Program management, customer experience, automation and large-scale project delivery.
Despite building a successful career in India’s top multinational companies, her connection to Bhutan remained strong. Over the years, she recognized a major gap: Indian travelers wanted to explore Bhutan, but the process was confusing, fragmented, and often lacked authentic local guidance.
This insight led to the creation of Druktrip.
